Adding a learner takes one code
You do not type in a learner's details for them. You generate an invite code, send it by whatever channel you already use, and the learner registers themselves. Once they do, they appear in your student list, linked to you.
Each learner belongs to exactly one instructor at a time, so there is never doubt about whose student they are.

Pause or archive instead of deleting
Learners take breaks. Exams, holidays and money get in the way, and some come back months later. You can pause or archive a student to take them off your active list while keeping their record, so you pick up where you left off.
Sharing students with another instructor
If you work alongside another instructor, the Partnership feature links your accounts to share a combined calendar view and coordinate who teaches whom. Each of you keeps your own profile, students and billing.
You generate an 8-character invite code in DrivePlanner and give it to the learner. They register with the code and are linked to you automatically. Codes expire after 24 hours.
It depends on the plan: up to 10 active students on Starter, 30 on Standard and 60 on Premium. Every plan includes every feature.
You can pause or archive them. They stop counting towards your active student limit and their history stays on record.
